PCC Super 6s returns for 2026

Our annual 6-a-side competition is back on Sunday 30th August 2026 at Broadaxe. After a brilliant debut in 2025 — with seven teams, over 200 spectators and nearly £1,500 raised towards a new club mower — we are hoping to make the 2026 event even bigger and better.

PCC vs Hay-on-Wye — 18 July 2026

Hay-on-Wye won by 156 runs in a high-scoring Worcs Division 8 clash at Broadaxe. Hay set a daunting target after a blistering 110 from W. Price, and despite a battling 60 from Luke Jones, Presteigne were bowled out for 190.

  • ·Ed 'the Red' Rees lost the toss (again) and Hay chose to bat under a sub-Saharan sun.
  • ·Winforton Willy Price plundered 110 — hooking, pulling and slogging almost every ball, even a would-be wide over cow corner for six.
  • ·Barry (76*), Evans (52) and Moore (31*) all cashed in as Hay posted 346/5 off 45.
  • ·Presteigne slipped to 19-2 in the 7th before Luke 'the Lump' Jones anchored with 60.
